
September 10, 2007... DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO NAMED “FASTEST 50” by TRADESHOW WEEK MAGAZINE
Digital Signage Expo (DSE), where digital signage and interactive technologies are exclusively showcased was just named one of Tradeshow Week Magazine’s 2007 Fastest 50, an award of distinction honoring the fifty fastest-growing shows in North America based upon total net square footage and percentage growth between 2004 and 2006. DSE, an Exponation, LLC trade show, will be represented at Tradeshow Week’s award ceremony in Atlanta, GA in early November to commemorate the accomplishment.
The award recognizes DSE’s significant growth over its first three years of operation (2004-2006) while exclusively serving fast-emerging digital signage and interactive technologies in industries such as retail, hospitality, banking, transportation, public spaces and more.
“We are honored to have been included as one of Tradeshow Week’s 2007 Fastest 50 shows,” said Angelo Varrone, CEO of Exponation, LLC, producer of Digital Signage Expo. “It is a very significant achievement, made even more significant by the fact that we earned this recognition based our first three years of operation, which is Tradeshow Week’s minimum show longevity qualification.”
“And, our rapid growth has continued,” added Chris Gibbs, Executive V.P. of Exponation, LLC. “Our May ’07 show had a significant increase in exhibit space vs. our 2006 show and a record 60% increase in attendees. Our 2008 event, which moves To Las Vegas next February, has already surpassed its exhibit space projection and is likely to sell-out in a matter of weeks.”
Digital Signage Expo moves to Las Vegas in 2008, staging February 26th -28th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition to an expanded conference program, there will also be a pre-conference “live case study” Installation Tour on Tuesday, February 26th and the debut of a global “virtual tour” of the latest in digital signage that will feature industry-specific case study presentations from countries around the world.

CHICAGO, IL--- Late last week, the 4th annual Digital Signage Expo and its inaugural sister event, Interactive Technology Expo captivated attendees and exhibitors with a robust exhibit hall, dynamic seminar program and stellar special events at the Navy Pier Exhibition Center in downtown Chicago, IL.
Both shows attracted over 2000 qualified attendees (a 60% increase of attendees compared to 2006), including executives from the broadest and largest base of end users the shows have delivered to date, including heavy-hitters such as Wal-Mart, Target, McDonald’s, Best Buy, JC Penny, Southwest Airlines, AT&T/Cingular, JFK International Airport, Harrah’s Casinos, General Motors, Saatchi & Saatchi X, Carnival Cruise Lines, Home Depot, Macys, Circuit City and Bank of America , to name a few
Over 110 exhibiting companies, representing a very broad cross-section of the industry (an over 20% increase in exhibits over the 2007 event), showcased leading-edge technology and solutions on an exhibit hall floor filled with the energy and electricity of an industry hitting its stride.
“2007 really marked the beginning of a new era in digital signage where the world is taking notice and the results are visible in more stores, airports, hospitality venues and so many others. Our attendance increased by over 60% compared to 2006. Both events are moving to a new location and a new date pattern, taking place February 27-28, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
